6.4L HEMI® V8 ENGINE
The 6.4L HEMI® V8 engine delivers 429 pound-feet of torque (on 4500/5500 models), Best-in-Class Gas Horsepower (370)(on 4500/5500), 21,550-pound trailering (on 4500 models) and a gross combined weight rating of 28,500 pounds (on 4500/5500 models). Using variable-cam timing and Fuel Saver Technology, it provides full-rated V8 power when needed and outstanding efficiency when operating in four-cylinder mode. The 8HP75 eight-speed automatic transmission offers reliability and efficiency and features eight speeds and on-the-fly shift mapping to accommodate changing loads and road conditions. The Aisin six-speed automatic transmission is also available and has been optimized for exceptional towing as well as outstanding power take off capability, impressive efficiency and low noise, vibration and harshness.
